What we make
The Aion 2 Nameforge project publishes this tool to help players compare character names before using the game's naming screen. The pages and generator were developed with AI assistance. The names come from a defined local syllable system rather than a live AI request.
The generator is free and requires no account. It uses separate Elyos and Asmodian sound banks, six tones, creative role preferences and 210 original epithets. You can generate batches, regenerate a single result, copy names and save a shortlist in this browser.
How a name is assembled
The generator selects a beginning, optional middle syllables and an ending from the selected faction's bank. It gives more weight to syllables matching your role style and tone. Short, balanced and long control the number of syllables, so the result reflects more than an arbitrary sequence of letters.
For each generated name, it selects an epithet from the matching tone pool, with an additional preference for role-related imagery. The epithet stays separate from the character name. A batch does not contain repeated character names, but another batch or player can still have the same name.
What the styles mean
Faction phonetics, role cues and epithets are our creative conventions. They are not an official language, official in-game titles or requirements that the game applies to a class or faction. The tool is intended for inspiration.
The game remains the authority for availability, permitted characters, field length, reservations and renaming. When confirmed information is absent, the guide says so. We do not invent a limit or promise that a generated name will be accepted.
Where the class names come from
The eight base class labels follow the official English game overview. Brawler comes from NCSOFT's Chapter 1 update announcement. It appears separately in the generator because that announcement does not establish availability in every regional or global client.
The class guide keeps those source links beside the names. Its sound preferences and generated examples belong to this tool. They do not describe class strength, a recommended build or a requirement imposed by the game.
How to read our examples
The faction, tone and class examples are illustrative outputs from the same generator used on the main page. The guides show the settings used to make them. A fresh batch can produce different spellings, and a printed example has not been checked against the game's name registry.
Manual spelling edits on the name-ideas page are labeled as illustrations. They show a way to compare rhythm and endings in your own notes; they are not proof of a reservation, an accepted spelling or an official character.
Where your choices go
Generation happens locally. Favorites are stored in this browser on this device and do not sync to an account. You can export the shortlist as a text file. See the privacy page for the current behavior.
